Alaskan King Crab Legs come from the meatiest crabs caught in the ocean and are a great way to treat family or friends to an extraordinary dining experience.

Red king crab legs can span up to 3 feet each, meaning there’s plenty of sweet crabmeat inside every red shell.

Unmatched King Crab Quality

Order Alaska Red King Crab, the largest of all crabs caught in the world, and you’ll taste the unmatched quality and texture.

It’s the most sought-after of the three Alaskan Crab species and popular with people who love seafood. Holy Crab Delivery offers the best King Crab in the country.

Responsibly Harvested Alaskan King Crab Meat

We pride ourselves on sustainability of all our crab and seafood offerings. Our Alaskan King crab is 100% American and 100% Sustainable.

The Alaskan Department of Fish and Game made an announcement Friday, September 3, 2021, that they would be canceling the King Crab fishing season - the first time since 1994. With that, all King Crab caught from then until early 2022, were not American caught.

According to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), “The red king crab fishery is currently managed according to the “three S’s”—size, sex, and season. Only male crabs of a certain size may be harvested, and fishing is not allowed during mating and molting periods. These measures help ensure that crabs are able to reproduce and replace the ones that are harvested. Fishermen must install escape panels and rings on their pots to prevent ghost fishing (when lost pots continue to capture and kill species) and to reduce bycatch.”

Alaskan King Crab Legs

Everything You Need to Know

How do I cook Alaskan King Crab legs?

Once your Holy Crab Delivery has arrived at your doorstep, the following steps will help prepare your next feast.

First, place your King Crab Legs in your fridge and leave them there overnight. This will help ensure that the meat defrosts in a timely and natural manner.

Our fisherman, once sourced in their fishing boats, made sure to cook & glaze the crab legs immediately upon their return to the docks. This is essential to help preserve the freshness and succulent taste. In other words, you won’t have to take too much time prepping your legs for your next get-together.

Naturally, there isn’t a one size fits all approach to how to enjoy King Crab Legs. So here, we’ll give you the most popular ways to prep your legs.

Grilled:

Grilling might be the best approach if you do not want to initially break off the legs before plating. Either way, it sure is a fun process!

Firstly, add a decent amount of olive oil to the Crab Legs. This will help prevent them from getting too sticky on the grill.

Crack up your grill to about 300° F. Place them over the grill for about 5 minutes. Then, flip them for another 5 minutes. Remove them from the grill, get your garlic butter for a great dipping experience, plate and enjoy.

Steamed:

Grab a pot and fill it up with about 2-3 cups of water and a Salt-Bae-like amount of salt.

Bring the water to a boil. Depending on the size of your pot, you may have to break up the legs into smaller portions.

Cover the pot with a lid and allow 7-10 minutes for the legs to heat up. Feel free to use the eye-ball test. If you think the legs are completely heated, feel free to take them out sooner.

King Crab Legs are delicious when accompanied with lemon wedges sprinkled over the meat and dipped in garlic butter.

Boiled:

Fill up a large pot with water. Cut up some lemon slices and grab a “Salt-Bae” amount of salt and sprinkle them all in the pot. Bring the water to a boil.

Once the water has reached its boiling point, place the king crab legs along with the lemon slices into the pot. Depending on the size of your pot, you may have to break off the legs so that they fit.

Once in, turn down the heat of the water to about medium temperature on your stove and allow them to sit for about 4-6 minutes.

Remove them from the pot, plate, and enjoy!

How is the Alaskan King Crab packaged?

Your order will be shipped frozen via dry ice.

Our fishermen, once the King Crab has been sourced out at the bay, return to the docks and cook and glaze the crab legs. They then grade the legs based on size and weight and are blast frozen. This ensures the Crab Legs will preserve the freshness and rich succulent taste.

Your order will arrive via FedEx Overnight delivery to ensure your order arrived as frozen as possible, even though a tab bit of defrosting during transit is totally okay.

How much is delivery to my location?

Our delivery rates range from $45-$70 depending on your location in the United States.

We recommend going through the checkout process to see your rate.

What is the recommended serving size for Alaskan King Crab legs?

The recommended serving size for Alaskan King Crab legs is 1.5lbs per person. So, dinner for 2 would be 3 lbs., dinner for 4 would be 6lbs, etc.
