About Holy Crab

A Family Tradition, Delivered to Your Door.

Holy Crab was founded by Irene and Lucas Calderon, a husband-and-wife team who built this company around a simple belief: great seafood brings people together. What started as a personal family tradition has become a national celebration of fresh Florida flavors and unforgettable shared moments.

Lucas grew up in a home where stone crab season felt like a holiday of its own. Some of his most cherished memories are of his father placing a platter of fresh stone crab claws at the center of the table — the cracking, the laughing, the quiet pauses to savor something special. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a ritual. A moment of connection. Something that brought everyone together.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Irene and Lucas realized how much people longed for those same kinds of moments at home. With restaurants closed and gatherings limited, they set out to deliver not only fresh Florida stone crab claws, but the joy, warmth, and togetherness that come with them. They began by shipping just-harvested stone crabs straight from the Florida Keys, packed with care and sent out with the promise of coastal freshness.

  • Sustainable Stone Crab Claws

Aside from being delicious, stone crabs are 100% sustainable. They are the ultimate renewable seafood resource. Only one claw is removed during harvest. The crab is then released back into the water where it will regrow its claw 6-7 x during its life.

  • Locally Harvested from Florida

We take great pride in the preservation of our stone crabs, by ensuring our fishermen uphold the standards as well as providing packaging made from 100% recycled materials.

  • Fast & Reliable Delivery

We offer 1-hour delivery in our Miami locations. See if you qualify! We ship to nationwide in the USA with delivery the next day if you order by 2 pm!
